Harvest Gold...and full of mold.
When I was little we had a harvest gold dishwasher. One day it broke...just stopped working, full of dirty old dishes. We just closed it up.
3 years later it was time to move. We opened the dishwasher up, and guess what? The dishes were still there and they were still dirty. Even dirtier in fact.
That's sin for you. You can close the dish washer but the dishes will still be dirty. Avoiding sin doesn't make it go away.
ouch.

How i wish that was true. That avoiding sin will make it disappear. It hurts so much sometimes to admit that we have sinned and to ask for forgiveness. What a wonderful God we serve that once we have admitted our sin and asked for forgiveness, that we are instantly forgiven and our sin forgotten never to be brought up again. If only life were like that. Love ya Gray
nice object lesson gray... gross, but nice
Thanks Chris. It's a true story. And yeah, it's gross too. Which is awesome.
the question is Gray, do you still own the dishwasher, and are the dishes still in it?
but yes, its a good object lesson, your gifted with these short but to the point lessons
i like that story because it's true... & i like you too *kiss kiss*
Yes Paul, we still have the dishwasher...when the Gillies moved they brought it with them and now it sits in the backyard and when we don't feel like washing some plates or pots then we just put them out into the dishwasher and that is where they stay....
How could we throw the dishwasher out, now come on, it is HARVEST GOLD!!!!
the scarry thing is i almost believe you....
You are such a GENIUS!! I Love your analogies!!! Your Great!
I like it! very good object lesson! Very to the point! Love yah!
Love Love Love
Oh mommy. It's a metaphor, the fact that the actual dishes got left in the dishwasher for a few years is not (I beleive) an actual sin.
Jesse told me about that dishwasher! But he didn't tell me the sin analogy part.
You're such comment hog...
You write about dirty dishwashers and you get a whole bunch of comments...I am jealous...I think I might cry...lol Not really...
I just wanted to make you have 15 comments. 14 is such a weird number 15 is better...hehehe
Thats an awesome metaphor...it's like you have the ability to express what we all feel on the inside, Gray!
Anyways, Now I think Im gonna go clean out our dishwasher here.
